Booked a superior king and got upgraded to a deluxe king for same price (585 Y a night ) so obviously I was very happy. Efficient check in, good english by most staff. It is conveniently located close to many restaurants, in front of beautiful lake, close to metro station.
In the morning, cleaning lady barged into my room after ringing and knocking, even though I had put the DO NOT DISTURB sign on and I yelled wait! from the room-- I was coming out of shower, so it was slightly embarrassing.

This hotel is fantastic! the location is unbeatable - we were able to easily get to the local sights, Hankow railway station, and the Metro thanks to the helpful staff. We had a lovely view of the beautiful lake and enjoyed walking around it. the room and bathroom were spacious and clean, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of choices. We were impressed with the complimentary toiletries and bottled water, and the WiFi signal was strong in our room.
There was some cigarette smoke in the common areas.

The luxurious amenities at this hotel were impressive, with exclusive room advantages such as a stunning view and quality toiletries. the indoor swimming pool was clean and well, maintained, and the bar/lounge area had a pleasant atmosphere , perfect for relaxing after a long day. In, room breakfast was prompt and delicious, and staff provided courteous and efficient service.
Although the majority of my experience was positive, the only minor issue was that the WiFi was slow and difficult to connect to at times.

The Christmas decorations were beautiful and added a festive touch to the hotel. The buffet breakfast had a good variety of options and the coffee was strong and hot. The hotel was located within walking distance to several shops and restaurants.
The room was not very clean, with dust and cobwebs in the corners. The bathroom had a bit of a musty smell and the towels were thin and scratchy.
